Turning passion into projects.
A creative lens on sports, stories and design.
My name is Ana Selena, a graduate student at Iona University, pursuing my master’s in Sports Media and Communication and a sports content creator/visual storyteller focused on capturing the emotion, rhythm, and energy of live competition. Since stepping into sports media, I’ve worked behind the lens across collegiate athletics and live productions, with hands-on experience shooting and creating content for Iona University Athletics, Lehman College Athletics, ESPN+ broadcasts, and events such as New York Giants Kayvon Thibodeaux’s youth football camp.
My work sits at the intersection of cinematic visuals and real-time sports storytelling. Whether I’m shooting game action, creating social-first content, or designing visuals, my goal is to go beyond the play itself by highlighting raw moments, reactions, and the in-between moments that elevate basketball storytelling across social platforms.
Alongside video and photography, I also explore storytelling through graphic design, blending motion, visuals, and pacing to create engaging, intentional content. While sports are my foundation, my creative background informs how I approach every project—with attention to detail, emotion, and flow.
This portfolio is a curated collection of my work across sports, honing in on live basketball, design- whether for marketing/promotional aspects, and social content/visual storytelling; reflecting my growth, process, and passion for creating content that feels authentic, dynamic, and impactful to connect with audiences in real time.
Thanks for being here!
